A clearer path from rough idea to factory-ready product.
The work required turning inconsistent customer inputs into distinctive enamel trading pins—without letting option cycles, production limits or quality control erode the result.

Doylestown Tigers · layered pin system, central baseball slider and numbered lineup dangle.
Outcome / documented proof
Three signals.
One better system.
revenue growth contributed to by the custom-product workflow.
✦fewer revision and option cycles.
◎faster production.
↗Collectibles in context
Designed to belong to the culture around the team.

Art-directed lifestyle visualizations shown to communicate intended scale, material presence and emotional context; they are not documentary photographs of delivered products.
The commercial problem
Custom does not have to mean chaotic.
Inputs arrived in different formats and levels of readiness. Each design also had to resolve into a finite set of metal, enamel, dimensional and attachment decisions. The creative challenge was inseparable from the production challenge.

A closer product view showing the layered construction and movable storytelling components.
Selected process evidence
A rough brief becomes a controlled object.

Personal names, contact details, correspondence metadata and internal company identifiers have been removed.
Manufactured proof / documented object
The finished object keeps the promise.
This privacy-safe crop comes directly from a photograph of the manufactured pin. It documents the physical enamel, glitter, metal edges, dimensional layers and moving spinner without exposing the player surnames around the outer rim.

Privacy-safe material detail · documentary product photograph, not a visualization.
Corroborating development sequence
A second case shows the system holding together.

Documentary sequence with correspondence details, dates and personal-name areas removed from the public presentation.
The system
Human decisions at every gate.
Think of it as a five-track studio session: listen closely, open the possibilities, make the edit, engineer the object and protect the master.
- Listen + interpret
Extract the emotional core, constraints, hierarchy and must-keep elements from inconsistent source material.
- Sample + explore
Use controlled generation and rapid composition to widen the option space without abandoning the brief.
- Select + refine
Choose what has a point of view, redraw what will not reproduce and simplify details for the actual product scale.
- Engineer the artwork
Resolve metal borders, color, dimensional features, add-ons and production specifications.
- Proof + QA
Present a clear approval artifact, absorb feedback and protect the approved design through handoff.
Product detail / layered construction
The detail is where the system proves itself.

Macro study of the central slider, raised-metal typography, enamel fills and attached lineup component.

Licensed nostalgia system
AV Inferno
V2AA vintage bubble-gum pouch becomes the pin silhouette, with comic typography and the Inferno mascot taking over the familiar retail hierarchy.
Third-party marks and characters are shown only as portfolio evidence of licensed-product and brand-stewardship capability. All artwork is identified as concept rendering unless explicitly labeled as manufactured proof.
What it demonstrates
Creative direction that survives real production constraints.
AI used as controlled acceleration—not delegated judgment.
A repeatable system that improved both business pace and output consistency.
